Storex mpix 358HD issue

Hello, I can't access my Storex mpix 358HD hard drive.
Let me explain: when I connect the hard drive to my computer, my computer recognizes it (normal message "a device has been added") but the icon does not appear in the computer folder. I am using Windows Vista.

Same problem as you.
After calling the hotline: verdict:
Factory return, I immediately received an email from Storex to make an exchange in the store (AUCHAN) and there, Auchan doesn't want to know anything about the exchange, they will try to repair it themselves!

I called the DARTY hotline and after an hour of unsuccessful attempts, they told me it was the hard drive and that I needed to return it to the store. Once that was done, I left with a new mpix 358HD and 20€ (I don't know why but I'm not complaining) and it works very well.

Good evening.
Auchan called me (after 3 days) to tell me that the equipment was available.
At customer service, they told me they had repaired it online with STOREX (I remain dubious!)
At my request, they connected the STOREX to a PC, and then NOTHING at all
"Who is the excellent technician who carried out the repairs????"


No response, silence....


Result: I got refunded immediately.

End of the story.
