Facebook: how NOT to display groups

Hello,
Grr....the field for the message title is too short. So I'm rewriting it here: Facebook: how NOT to display the groups I belong to.

Indeed, there are groups that interest me but are also completely stupid. I don't want all my friends (especially my professional contacts) to know that I belong to the quarter pound cake defense group or the Baloo the bear group (I'm taking silly examples here).
So I’m looking for a way to hide the groups I belong to....and I can't find the option that would allow me to hide them anywhere. If you have any ideas or relevant information, I would appreciate it. Thank you !!!!!
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.20

    Hello!
    I just found a solution:
Go to Settings, then Applications, click on "Edit" next to "Groups," and there you choose who can see (or not) the groups you belong to!

Ah!!! Finally THE answer I was looking for. Thank you very much Val, for this useful, precise, and clear response.
(It's much better than "go search on Google").

      Thanks again.

The problem is that when you become a member of a group, all your friends will receive a notification on their homepage that you've just become a member of that group. And they will be able to click on it without any issue.

I'm also looking for a solution.

        See you!

Il y a plusieurs paramètres, je clique sur paramètres des applications mais après il n'y a pas, genre tu choisis qui peut voir les groupes auxquels tu appartiens.
