Why can't I comment on Facebook anymore? Solved/Closed

Hello,

I have a problem with Facebook. I can no longer comment on my wall or my friends' walls. In fact, I can't write anything at all anymore. I also can't accept new friends. My email alerts me to new messages that no longer appear in my Facebook inbox. It's a major blockage. However, I can still view my wall or my friends' walls, but that's all. Configuration: Mac OS X
Firefox 2.0.0.4

I had the problem and I fixed it!!!! All you have to do is delete all the cookies, all the history, and all the cache from Google Chrome! To do this, simply go to the tab: history (at the top left) and click on "view full history", then click on "clear browsing data", then select "from all time" in "clear items dating from:"! and select: Clear browsing history, Clear cache, Delete cookies and other site data and plugin data

I think I've found the problem...
If you have social plus: normally you have the icon at the top right next to home, profile, and account...

Open: the tab "socialplus!" => "preferences" => then UNCHECK the boxes numbered: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10

Log out of your account and then log back in...

It worked for me, I hope it will be the same for you....

I had the same problem, I uninstalled "faceplus" and since then I can post on other people's walls again, the issue is indeed with the add-ons for Facebook, I hope I have answered your question.

For those whose "comment" button no longer appears, you just need to press the "enter" key to submit the comment. To jump lines, simply press SHIFT+ENTER.  Best regards

I had the same problem and by refreshing the Facebook page several times (for my part: 5 times), I was able to write my comments.

Hello,

when I post something and someone comments on it, if I access it from the notification, everything is in italics and I can't comment or even click on the names of the people. I have to go back to my profile and search for the post to be able to comment, which is not very practical when the post is old :(

does anyone have this problem, I don't see where it's coming from......

For almost a week now, I haven't been able to update my status, post videos, etc...
I reported the issue using their help system, but I don't really believe in it. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Me too, but I managed to get it back. You need to go to the arrow at the top right, then to privacy settings, then it says contact information so you click (a bit to the right) on modify settings and in: "who can post on my timeline" you click friends!
