Hello, I would like to know how we can connect two bare wires together? My two wires are not fitted with male plugs but are indeed bare. I think I could solder them one by one, but it seems a bit makeshift.
It is to extend an existing cable to move my socket. Thank you and happy New Year!
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

And if I put a socket at each end and connect them with a coupler, will there be a loss of power??

Heu, it's definitely not advisable at all!!!
    Huge loss of performance...

Thank you, actually I connected the two with an RJ45 socket because I wanted to set up 2 outlets on the same cable. So, I realized too late that it doesn't work except for the 2nd outlet installed where I receive internet at 100Mbits/s.
I then thought about soldering the two cables together, but if you tell me that it doesn't work, I'll see how I can manage it.
