Commande choice ou pas ?

Bonjour,
Je sais que la commande CHOICE n'existe pas sous xp, qu'il faut donc utiliser la commande suivante:
set choice=
set /p choice=
if %choice%==1 goto .....
if %choice%==2 goto ....
Cette commande, elle marche avec xp mais est-ce qu'elle marche aussi sous windows 9x ??
