Hello,

This site seems to want to charge me the amount of 39 euros, claiming a problem with my credit card.

I donate to them from time to time, but their method shocks me.

Is this a scam attempt?

    It isn’t impossible, but before deciding, it would be wise to provide more information.

    LibreOffice is provided free of charge by The Document Foundation.
    Have you downloaded from the URL: https://fr.libreoffice.org/download/ which is the official site?

    Read this anyway:

    Would you have checked “Make a donation”? once, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually?

      Hello,

      I've had LibreOffice since the beginning; before that I used OpenOffice, both downloaded from their site via the CCM link.

      I didn't check anything, and this is their first request, with an incorrect credit card number; mine has been the same for years.

      I read the recommended article, we could assume something might be happening.

      Now I am hesitant to make another donation with my credit card.

      So stop, for now.
