If we use CarPlay or Google Pay instead of our card, does the merchant "see" our bank reference details?

    Hello,

    No, the merchant does not see your bank details.

    When you use Apple Pay (or Apple Wallet via your device) or Google Pay, the merchant does not receive your actual card number, its CVV, or its expiration date.

    During the transaction, the system transmits to the merchant's terminal a one-time virtual card number (a token).
