Hello,

I have read how to erase those unbearable lines in Word, but I can't apply the process to an Open Office document... How can I remove them???

Thank you very much for your help.

    Lau,

would you please try the following manipulation by carefully following the steps:
    - press CTRL A to select your entire document
    - right-click, "Paragraph", "Borders" tab
    - click on the "Apply border to all sides" icon, Ok
    - without deselecting, right-click again, "Paragraph", "Borders" tab
    - click on the "Remove borders" icon, Ok

    Hello Lau,

    it's the day ;-)
Is it the issue mentioned in the following discussion thread:

      Hello!

No, I don't think it's the same problem.

For some strange reason, horizontal black lines are multiplying in the document. I can select a portion of the text to delete them (even going as far as retyping the text!), but the lines remain. Similarly, if I add text, the line stays and the text goes underneath. It's impossible to erase them.
