1fichier.com and ad blocker Solved

Question

Hello,
Since yesterday, 1fichier.com no longer allows me to download files on the grounds that I need to disable ad blockers (here's the message: Advertising is essential for providing the free trial offer. To continue, you need to disable all ad blocking).
I have disabled AdGuard ad blocker, but that doesn't work either.

I am on Windows 7 and I use Firefox.
What else should I do to make this work?

In fact, the problem is related to the security option "Do Not Track" in browsers (regardless of which ones), which needs to be disabled.

Hello  Just check the 2 boxes above the download button before clicking the button to download.  If you have an account, log in and then check the 3 boxes just above the download button before clicking the button to download.  See you later!

Same problem.. I can't even access my account anymore because in the top right everything is covered by a "cookies" pop-up that I can only remove by reactivating my blocker! And so if I reactivate, no more pop-up and thus no more downloads.....

I tested a random download without an account

Here is what I see

Even though I have Ublock and not Adblock, I disable it and I can download

If you're still having the issue, try ResetBrowser
Install Ublock here
you still need to disable it to show the download

Uninstall (not just disable) → ad guard adblocker

Give it a try.

Edit:
Remember to back up your bookmarks and export your passwords just in case.

Hello,

I think that until a little genius comes up with a Greasemonkey script to bypass 1fichier's anti-adblock system, it will be impossible to download without ads on this server.

For reference, the AAK-Cont userscript doesn't work for me, and neither does AAK reek.

Until then, there are many other hosts... A significant drop in traffic might perhaps change this host's advertising policy, even though I don't really believe it.

Hello, I had the same issue as you, and I found an alternative solution. I managed to download via Internet Explorer (since I never use it, I don't have any ad blockers on it) and it works for me now!!

I'm having the same issue, despite disabling my ad blocker and changing my settings on Firefox. So, I tried to work around the problem by installing a download manager (JDownloader) and it works \o/

I found a solution that works. No longer use 1fichier but rather UpToBox. That will teach them to act like fools.

Install the Qwant extension for Firefox if you are using Firefox and click on the icon to disable tracking protection. This should immediately unblock the situation.
