Problème affichage

Résolu
Bonjour, je voudrais que mon image se répète jusqu'au bout du tableau qui est a une marge de 10% à gauche et à droite mais il ne le fais pas et je ne comprends pas trop pourquoi, je sais que c'est une question simple mais je pense qu'avec des explications, ça ira beaucoup mieux par la suite..

Voici à quoi ça ressemble:
http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/pti2.php

Et mon code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="fr" >
   <head>
       <title>Index</title>
       <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
       <link rel="stylesheet" media="screen" type="text/css" title="Design" href="style.css" />
   </head>

   <body>

<table border="2" class="tableau_principal">
	<tr>
		<td><img src="images/bleu.JPG" class="baniere_haut"/></td>
	</tr>
</table>

</body>
</html>

Fichier CSS:
body{
background-color:CCCCCC;
border-collapse: collapse;
}

.tableau_principal{
margin-top:5%;
margin-left:10%;
margin-right:10%;
margin-bottom:5%;
}

.baniere_haut{
height:100px;
width:100%;
background-repeat:repeat;
}
Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.11

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="fr" >

           <link rel="stylesheet" media="screen" type="text/css" title="Design" href="style.css" />
       </head>

       <body>

          et au lieu de

          <td><img src="images/bleu.JPG" class="baniere_haut"/></td>

          si tu met

          <td><div class="baniere_haut"></div></td>

          et dans le css dans .banniere haut :

          background-image:url("images/bleu.JPG");
          background-repeat:repeat;

          bon, c est un peu tirer par les cheveux de mettre un div au milieu d un td mais bon...

            background-repeat:repeat;
