Hello,
I play Resistance 2 and I would like to know a bit more about the coop mode that I enjoy, thank you
When selecting special forces - When are the grenades distributed?
- Are the grenades randomly distributed from ammo boxes?
When I want to create a coop game, I can only choose Chicago as a map, why?
What are the -Mission Reports - in the coop game selection menu?

To choose the session like the di twista, you need the 1.6 update of Resistance 2.
How to get this update?
- Easy, you connect your PS3 to the internet, and you insert your game disc (Resistance 2), and it will find the latest available update.
Then, you open another session on your PS3 and when you start the game, player 2 presses "start" and it will ask you to choose the session you want and all your points will be saved on it :)
Well, happy gaming to you dear friends and don't forget... take down all the Chimera!!!!!! -
Hi everyone, I'm playing with my brother Resistance 2 in coop mode and we found the solution to keep the levels offline
Actually, you just need to create a guest account for the second person on the PS3 server and every time you want to play, you log in player 2 (guest) and the save is accounted for both.
There, it works for us
Have fun gaming everyone-

Twista, can you explain to me how you do it exactly because I just got the PS3 and I don't know how to do it.
Thank you in advance.-
In fact, precisely, you go to your PlayStation manager
you add a guest, the one you play with, you put their name
you check that it is created
I think it's called creating a new guest account
and then every time you enter the game
your other partner presses start to connect
it connects to the guest profile and your XP will be counted just like on the admin account of your PlayStation, that's it
if it's not specific enough
tomorrow I'll check exactly and I'll tell you what to do

Yohoho supercommander,
So question 1: grenades:
They are randomly distributed (but quite often!!) by assault units,
Question 2 Chicago:
The next map is only available if you complete the Chicago map 5 times and have enough gray tech (5!)
Question 3: mission reports;
They are secret documents (a bit like the ToS of Gear of War, another great FPS): the more you have, the more bonuses you unlock;;;
Ciao a+.

Hello everyone,
It is possible to play offline co-op with 2 players while retaining the XP of both players.
First, you need to create a PS3 account (I have mine and my son's) that can be used for any game.
Then start your PS3 on one account and when you play co-op, choose to open the second account. Both names will appear in the game and each will earn and keep their XP points. -
And in Chicago, in cooperation, what's annoying is that there are bugs sometimes you can even fall into the void or walk through walls!!!

Hi, I don't know, I don't have this game but I have a question:
Do you have a DualShock 3 controller???
If so, does it work well with R2 ????
There you go....
Hi, I hope someone will help you .... +++ =) -
Hello,
I am playing offline with 2 players in Resistance 2.
I play as the soldier and my girlfriend plays as the medic. How do we recharge ammunition?
Also, if I play as the soldier and she plays as the grenadier, how do we recover health?
When we click start and select the 3rd playable character type, nothing happens, why?
The coop mode is meant to be played by 2 to 8 players, but is it not really playable with only 3 players?
When we turn off the PS3 and then turn it back on, does the 2nd player lose their experience points?
In offline mode, I have a created game, but every time I can only select a new offline game and not the one that has my name on it, do you know why?
Thank you.-
Hello,
I have roughly the same question, is it possible in offline cooperative mode to save the experience points of the second player? Because every time the console is stopped, the experience points of the first player are saved but not those of the second... I have looked for solutions but found no results, so if anyone has an idea...
Thanks. -

I searched on several forums but it didn’t yield much, most people don’t really know either... But some say it’s not possible... It would be a shame if it weren’t possible because already there’s no campaign in co-op mode, so if plus no save option is available for player 2, the game will have a lot of negatives.
-
Yes, it’s really a shame for the co-op in the campaign; it would have been really great to be able to play the story. I heard there will be some content on PSN, a kind of patch that would allow us to play offline with the second player’s XP points saved, and also do the campaign in co-op, hoping it will happen...

It depends on the grenade. My buddy shoots one bullet and then I throw some ammo, and he has a grenade to alert in Chicago. You need to have 10 mission reports. You earn them by taking down bosses, but you have to do everything they tell you without dying; then you'll face a boss.
-
I also have a problem with this game. I play offline with my brother, but every time we stop playing, there is no way for us to save the game, so every time we have to start all over again. If anyone has a solution, please let us know, because we're really starting to lose it!! :D

Okay, that's what I thought, but only the levels are extremely hard. Tell me when you turn on the switches, and when a large number of monsters come at you right away, how do you handle it? There are just two of us, and we get overwhelmed right away. If you have any advice to give me, I’d gladly take it, man ;) Thanks.

Sorry, I won't answer your question. Here's another question:
Can we do a campaign in 2-player mode?
Thanks in advance. -
You think that's it? I don't. We need to track down the game developers to tell us how to do it differently next time. They keep it to themselves...

Hello,
This is my first and last message on this site
Here, to succeed in cooperative mode I take the example of Chicago to succeed I advise you to start where the macabre charge at you (this place is easy)
As soon as you have freed it, continue. When there is a place where there are switches that release a lot of chimeras. Before activating it, hide one of your players where the macabre previously were. (As long as one of the players is alive, you won't lose)
I play alone with 2 like this (I hide player 2 in an inaccessible place)
I hope I have helped you
Best regards,

Hello everyone
Here's my problem. I don't understand why I'm not gaining XP to level up when I play Resistance 2 in co-op (the 60-player matches) =D
Thank you for your responses. -
In this game, to do well, you need at least a doctor and a soldier, with the doctor being the first player... You can charge into the fray, but then the doctor stays back (the soldier puts his shield up against the fire), or as soon as a wave of enemies arrives, you sprint to a well-hidden spot and take down the chimeras one by one... Come on, guys, the battle isn't over! (For the second player, it's true that it's annoying not being able to save.)

So I play with my boyfriend Resistance 2, it's really simple actually to complete each mission. He is in special forces and I'm a soldier, and I always connect my shield and he always resupplies me before it runs out. That way, when a bunch of Chimeras approach, I just have to shoot them without them being able to hit me. In addition, with the invisibility mode he has, it's very easy to kill them. That's to answer your questions. And when there are two reactors to destroy, after activating them, the other player just needs to stay far from the one who is going to destroy them, so if one of the two players dies, the other one is safe and the mission is not lost.
