Hello,
I have a Packard Bell EASYNOTE SB88-P-012W (P/N: PC06QW0002), and I would like to know if it is possible to change the graphics card in my laptop!!!
http://support.packardbell.com/fr/item/index.php?m=home&pn=PC06QW0002

I went to a computer technician who told me that it is impossible to change the graphics card in a laptop because the graphics card chipset is soldered to the motherboard, unlike a desktop PC where the chipset is soldered to the graphics card itself!!! Therefore, since it is impossible to remove the chipset from the old graphics card from the motherboard, it is impossible to change the card!!!

But on the internet, tutorials explain that it is possible to change graphics cards in laptops, so now I don't know what to think!

So, is it possible to change a graphics card in a laptop? Can you simply remove the card like in desktop PCs? I would really like to be able to change my card, especially since I have 4GB of RAM that is useless in my PC since Vista 32-bit only supports 3GB, and with Vista soon being replaced by Seven (7), I would really like to learn that I didn't get scammed with a laptop!
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.4

You can change your graphics card, you need to choose a graphics card with a XMX port.
You can find them on this website: http://www.e-fidelite.net/search.php?q=carte+graphique
