Can we remove the yellow exclamation mark?

Hello,

I have an exclamation mark in yellow on the taskbar for Windows updates. The problem is that I currently have 2 updates:
* Windows Genuine Advantage Notification
* Windows XP service pack 3

And I don't really want to download them. For Genuine Advantage, I already tried and I had to do a system restore to an earlier date because I am "possibly a victim of counterfeiting", so I really don't want that...

For service pack 3, I have two questions:
1: Can I install it without having to install Genuine Advantage?
2: Is service pack 3 really worth it? (Advantages and disadvantages?)

All this to ask if you know a way to tell Windows Update that I don't want these updates? And thus get rid of this cursed exclamation mark that taunts me every second...

Thank you in advance for your help and advice!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.4

It seems to me that you can remove them
but if your Windows is not original, I advise you to disable everything

Why do you think they will "eventually flush me out ;-) "?
The problem is that I've already done it, and as a result, a red exclamation mark appears! So what to do?
Do these exclamation marks drain my bandwidth? If so, between yellow and red, which one would take up the least?
So is it really worth disabling them all in your opinion?

Hello and thank you for the response,
In the updates folder, it only offers me to disable automatic updates, I just want to disable the two that I mentioned, is there a way?

yes better to deactivate everything directly, your bandwidth won't pump anything
