Hello,
It's been over a month now that my antivirus has been unable to update (either automatically or manually). It is F-Secure Client Security 2007 with a business license. Usually, it tells me it cannot connect to the server. Sometimes it starts downloading, but after a while, it shows an error message of the same type. I believe I may have picked up a few viruses since then. Do you have any idea what might be the cause?
Thank you

Hi, for your update issue here: http://support.f-secure.com/fra/corporate/supportissue/general/xpsp2.shtml, then if you really think you have been infected, you can post a hijackthis log, first fix your antivirus problem!

Thanks for the tip,
I went to the site but I couldn't figure out which pack to choose, given that I have version 7.00. I took the one that seemed the newest to me, namely: fsavwk552-09-signed.fsfix. When I tried to open the file, I got an error message: either the hotfix is corrupt, or your hard drive space is insufficient (I have 5GB free out of 60GB, that seems fine to me). I downloaded the hotfix a second time but still the same problem. Any idea? -
Actually, you need to go to the publisher's website to download the patches and update it. I don't know much about F-Secure, but from what I've been able to find, that's what I understand. Try here, but it's in English! : https://www.f-secure.com/en/business/support-and-downloads

I looked at the various hotfixes proposed and the one that seems suitable consists of updating FS Automatic Update Agent (fsaua.exe) to version 8.22 build 2302, which, upon checking, is the version I currently have... so I don't think the problem comes from there. Moreover, the latest of the hotfixes proposed for my version dates back to October 21 and my last update is from October 25, so I think they must have been taken into account. I looked a bit on the site and I am currently downloading a manual update program (fsdbupdate), I will see how that goes.

It seems to have worked, hooray! For those who might be interested, here's the address of the page where I found the download link.

Thanks for your help anyway. I'm going to do a full scan to see if I've picked up any little bugs.
