EBP accounting practice: loss of files

Hello,

I am following up on an offer/email from EBP to perform a "free" update of my EBP Compta Flash 2008 to EBP Compta Pratic 2009.
I have installed the software (I have the license and I had no problem during the installation) but now I no longer have access to my file.
I receive the error message:
"Unable to read the common information of the folder (BtrvErr 94)! The folder cannot be opened..."

I tried restoring, but it's the same.

If you have experienced this issue, please help me. I did not take the support contract from EBP and cannot reach a technician without this support contract.
It's unfortunate, especially since I didn't request this update...

I also uninstalled the Compta Pratic software to reinstall Compta Flash but I still cannot access my file.

Hello,
I have the same problem as you. So far, no solution found.
I will try to check with EBP. I believe we have a contact.

Hello, I solved my problem on my own. I was treated poorly by EBP, on the grounds that I didn't subscribe to the support contract, they refused to help me. The only response I got was: "You got the update for free, that's already pretty good!!"
For the process, I loaded a backup (which was on another hard drive) by accepting an upgrade from it to the new software.
It didn't work the first time, but okay the second time.

Thank you for this information. Indeed, after making an initial restoration, the same problem persisted. I have just restored with an older backup and now everything is fine.
