Disney image usage

Hello,
I opened a cooking blog, I cooked the ratatouille from the Disney film "Ratatouille", I printed the rat from the cartoon and I stuck it on my dish.
Of course I take pictures of all my dishes to post on my blog.
Do I have the right to publish my dish with the image of Remy?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Hello

I’m not a lawyer but, personally, I think that no, if your blog is public (no password to access the page) and if you don’t have Disney’s permission. It’s a bit like posting a photo of a child without the parents’ consent.

You can always post it while noting "" Image taken from the cartoon "Ratatouille" by Disney. Removal is possible upon written request". I don’t know if that will protect you more, but people will be informed of its source and that you are willing to remove it if needed.

Hello, I think that if the webmaster allowed it, there’s no problem. I use Titi’s image everywhere and no one told me anything, nor ever refused.

Thank you for your response. What do you call the webmaster?
I took the image from Google Images by copying and pasting.
The more I think about it, the more I feel I may not have the right to put this image on my dish inspired by this cartoon.
      Thanks again

on each site there is a webmaster, it’s someone who controls the sending of emails, just like on this site, I think. so in my opinion leave your image, as I leave my titi!!

No, we are not allowed to take other people's work, but the minimum is to do what Algod writes.
Far too many people, associations, and public institutions nonetheless allow themselves to do it.
On the other hand, contrary to Titibus's statement, the web-master is not a jurist, and does not systematically check whether you have acquired the rights of reproduction, representation, or use of these illustrations, yet he is jointly responsible. In case of a lawsuit, he can also be charged with counterfeiting and copyright infringement.
I suppose Titibus does not even know the name of Titi's illustrator...
That shows how little illustrators are valued in France.
