Hello,
how can I arrange tables side by side in Word 03 to save on costs, as I will be halving the number of pages to print? It concerns 50 pages, tables containing 4 and only numbers in the cells. I want to make sure to fully utilize the page in columns as it is done in newspapers.
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

ReHello,

A question: do you work on 2003 (or earlier) or 2007?

The following is for 2003 (2007 later, but the principle is the same)...

You open a blank word document.

1) From the menu:
Format >> Columns >> in the box that appears, make your choices, your adjustments and confirm (2 columns, etc...);

2) From the menu:
Insert >> Break >> in the box that appears, select "column break";

3) Voilà, you now have 2 columns side by side. You can move your cursor from one to the other.
You can put 1 table in each column, etc...

4) To "continue" on the next page, place your cursor under the (last) table in the right column and do another column break (this will create a second page with columns, etc...)

Is that clearer?

Catch you later
