Hello,
I have a Brother DCP - 130 C. Suddenly, the connection to the PC stopped working. I checked all the cables, tried to repair with the disk, with no results.
I then uninstalled the software using CCleaner, but many files remained; I cleaned the registry.
I downloaded DelInf32.exe from the Brother website and implemented it.
Nothing worked, there are still 3 files that are impossible to remove in "driver cache -> i386 -> driver.cab" these files are named
-brother.dll
-brother.ini
-brothui.dll
I'm at the end of my knowledge, how can I remove them?
Since I want to reinstall the software, what do I risk if I leave them in place?
Thanks to anyone who can give me information.

To completely uninstall the software, you need to:
1/ open the Control Panel
2/ open Programs and Features
3/ the list of installed programs on your PC will display, this takes a few seconds or up to 2-3 minutes.
4/ select the software you want to uninstall and click on (Remove), let it do its thing and follow the procedure that appears on your screen, then you will see "uninstallation succeeded"
5/ open the (C) drive, go to Program Files, find the folder that bears the name of the software in question, then right-click and delete. There you will be sure that you have correctly uninstalled it; nothing will be left...

Good evening,
Thank you for your advice, but I've already done all of that, to no avail; the 3 files are still there, impossible to delete.
Thanks anyway.
