Hi! It's hard to reply... What OS are you using (Windows XP, Vista (that junk), Linux, Mac OS, ...)? What email client are you using (Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Balsa, ...)? In each of these programs, you have a way to remember your login credentials (username and password), but depending on the software, it won't be in the same place... Generally speaking, when you check your email, it gives you a login window to enter your username (or email address) and password, and in that window, there's also a checkbox to remember this information (so you won't have to enter it again). Click on the tab: Tools, Internet Options, Content, AutoComplete, and follow the instructions.

I'm still having the same issue; I can no longer access Outlook without providing an ID and password since I went through Piratrax.
The explanations given are incomplete or lacking in precision.

Since I set Internet Explorer as my default browser, I have no more problems.
But that's not all; in this browser you need to go to
tools,
Internet options, then click on
content and scroll down to where it says
AutoComplete stores your entries (there's a little man in front of it, click on
settings and uncheck
Browsing history,
feeds,
use Windows Search to get..
Username and password,
click OK.
Turn off the PC.
Then you go back to everything I just wrote (open Outlook first) and check only username and password;
That's what I did and it works.. But this means you need to have Internet Explorer as your default browser;

Hello, which messaging service are you talking about? If it's WLM (Windows Live Messenger), the issue I've encountered is that when multiple MSN sessions are available on a PC, you have to close the internet and click on your messaging service to open it directly. For example, to make it clear: 2 sessions available, one named moi@hotmail.fr and elle@hotmail.fr. elle@hotmail.fr is connected, chatting, etc., browsing the internet and checking her emails. She logs out of her session, and moi@hotmail.fr wants to connect to chat and check her emails, and then Internet Explorer asks for her username and password because the messaging service is still under elle@hotmail.fr. You just need to close Internet Explorer and click again to access my messaging. It will open directly on moi@hotmail.fr's messaging. I hope I explained it well :)

Outlook Express is a sieve, check on many forums (via Google search) for a program called Mozilla Thunderbird: it simply saves all your logs & passwords from all your email accounts and only opens them when you enter a unique master password... plus a bunch of other very, very useful functions.

Yes, when Firefox asks you if you want it to remember your password, but one thing is that if you do that, anyone can access your messaging. A piece of advice: don’t do it. Write your password down on your phone; it’s safer. I have everything secured so that nobody can get in. I even masked my IP address. Best regards, Guylaine.

Totally agree with Claude! I have MS Office for many years, including Word which I use every day, as well as Outlook (the email management tool, not Outlook Express), and I’m very happy because I’VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS, and Outlook is the only one that can sync my 4 Siemens Gigaset landlines as well as my Nokia mobile! Just imagine if I had to manually type my 240 very complete contacts into the 5 phones!!! And also into a folder on the computer (to have a backup of my 240 contacts: you never know, a wrong phone operation is always possible...) It might be paid, but at least I know that my Word docs (letters) I send to the secretaries of the companies, they will be able to open them! Yes, I know, Open Office saves in PSEUDO-Word (I insist on the "pseudo"!!!) because even if it’s pseudo ".doc", there are formatting bugs and recognition issues with some special characters!

Hi, you can use and I recommend GOOGLE CHROME as your internet browser. With it, you will enter your email address and password once in your mailbox, and GOOGLE CHROME will ask you if you want to save them. Just confirm, and that's it. The next time you log in, your password will already be filled in, and you will only need to validate your login to your mailbox. GOOGLE CHROME does the same with all the sites that require a password. To make things easier for you regarding GOOGLE CHROME manipulation, there's a tutorial on YOUTUBE.
