Hello,
I have a 16 GB USB drive and I want to put files larger than 4 GB on it; it is formatted in FAT32, so that's impossible.
- I tried to format it to NTFS using "convert j: /fs:ntfs", but after 5 minutes I got the message "Unable to notify other components that this volume has been modified."
- I tried right-clicking on j:, formatting (to NTFS), and got an error message after attempting the format...
- Partition Magic doesn't recognize it...
Do you know a solution?
Thanks for your help

go to "Start" then "Run" and enter the value "cmd". A black window appears. We can therefore begin.
Perform the Conversion:
CONVERT "drive letter" : /FS:NTFS
p.s: the key must be in FAT32 beforehand.
