Impossible to play pes 2009 black screen - Page 6

And well, I'm adding a weirdness!

Indeed, the game was working, I had to format my PC and I reinstalled it exactly as it was, and now it doesn't work anymore (black screen without the stars)... I have a GeForce 8500 GT, XP Pro, P4 3.20GHz, 2GB of RAM, and so the PES config is completely blue!

So personally, I think it's a story of an update somewhere, I'm currently looking into it, I'll let you know later!

for this problem, you just need to install the PES 2009 demo and then copy the files (csod-cv00-cv01-cv02-cv03-cv04-cv05-cv06-cv07) found in the img folder of the PES 2009 demo
then paste them into the img folder of your PES 2009 directory in the Program Files.

So I install it on my other PC and it does the same thing...
I don't understand anything anymore
Yet the demo runs on both PCs!
Is there anyone who has a solution?

P.S. = I even tried taking the CV01>CV07 folders from the demo and putting them in the IMG folder of the PES game but it still doesn't work...

I had a problem with my PES 2009 game that started with stars and then the KONAMI logo, and then nothing (black screen with no "reaction").

I just had to remove from Computer > Program Files > KONAMI > img >
at this point, you need to delete all files that start with pes(something). I hope you understood me.

From what I understood, these are video files that were preventing the game from starting correctly.
Anyway, it doesn't matter what it is; for me, since this little maneuver, my game is working very well.

Je voudrais savoir si on peut jouer à PES 2009 sur PC avec une carte graphique Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO 1024 Mo DDR2 HyperMemory. Si ce n'est pas le cas, veuillez me dire une bonne carte à un prix pas trop cher, merci à tous.

The solution that worked for me. - Install PES 2009 (also install a No-DVD) - Install the PES 2009 Demo - Copy ALL the "img" folders from PES 2009 to the "img" folder of PES 2009 DEMO - Copy the No-DVD into the PES 2009 DEMO folder. Note: When asked to overwrite folders with the same name, respond YES! - Launch PES from the PES 2009 DEMO folder.

En fait, c'est parce que le dossier img de PES 2009 n'est pas complet, il te manque le fichier cv09.img et le fichier cv08.img qui contiennent les stades, etc. Moi, j'ai importé les fichiers cv08 et cv09 de la démo et je les ai mis dans le dossier image de l'original, et ça a marché, mais vous ne pouvez jouer que dans un seul stade, le Villa Maria Stadium, un truc comme ça, et c'est là où je suis bloqué. Il faut que je trouve un dossier cv09 complet avec tous les stades du jeu.

actually this problem often occurs when you install the game while your hard drive is fragmented, some files are quite large and the game gets stuck when they are fragmented, unfortunately, defragmentation is not enough once the game is installed, you need to uninstall, defragment thoroughly, and then reinstall...

I deleted the img files starting with PES, it's a simple thing but you need to know it.

For the black screen issue, to get rid of it, you need to disable ctfmon.exe in the Processes (by pressing ctrl+alt+delete) and, for safety, also disable any virtual disk reader you may have, like Daemon tools or others. This resolved my black screen problem in PES 2011.
