Unable to access backup data, sorry.

Hello,
I don't know what's going on, some ROMs are not working with my DS One card (white and green). I launch a game and it says: "unable to access save data, please turn off the console and reinsert the DS card." I think this relates to my recent games, as I didn't have this issue before. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks for your help!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.3

    For recent games, you need to do an update that you can download here
    https://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/
    and download this file # R4_v1.18_French.zip 5.10 MB
    unzip it and add it to your microsd

      Hi Solidseb, and thanks for your help. I found the file, I unzipped it, copied it to my mini SD (I put the entire French folder), and when I launch a game that "messes up," I always get the same error message... And when I enter the "French" folder, it says: no support adapter type. Do I need to do something special? Do I have to go into the settings of the French folder I added? Thanks in advance if you can still help me a bit...

      Good evening,
      Same problem, I received a recent game today and the DS is telling me 'unable to find the existing save' .. so I followed SoliSeb's instructions by going to download this file # R4_v1.18_French.zip 5.10 MB, from the site, but I can't even find it on the site. Sorry if I'm not seeing clearly enough, it's my age xD
      Does it have another name in the link?

    I know there are bugs or file issues or a missing file in these updates, the thing is to install the driver via the CD you got with your R4 and then add the file from the update you downloaded and say yes to everything that says "file exists, do you want to replace it". (Personally, I’ve never had a problem with erroneous, missing files... Moreover, this problem is not exactly stated, it always says loading or another error message, but with the method I use, I haven't encountered this issue yet, this might explain it :p)

      slt, why are you telling me to download an R4 file when I have a DS One? Maybe that's why it doesn't work on my console... I think both the R4 and the DS One are linkers?

      hello,

      I had the same issue:
      1. download the file mentioned above
      2. unzip it
      3. overwrite the plugin, skin, and custom directories on the microSD with the new ones
      4. don't forget to overwrite the _DS_MENU.DAT and _DS_MENU.SYS files located in the root

      it should work

      Are you sure the error message is: Unable to access backup data?
      If not, then it definitely won't work!

    So I tried your method Mlle-x-smiile, and when I start the game the screen goes completely black but I strangely still have SOUND! =S
    The error message I was given was:

    " Save impossible.
    Turn off the console and reinsert the DS card "

    So the link you provided won't solve that problem, right?

    Update and if it doesn’t work
    you duplicate a backup of another game and you name it after your new game.sav
    don't forget to delete the previous sav.

    Yep, they are both linkers, but my bad regarding the R4 solution, just too used to replying to posts about R4s :p! But on the site I gave you, there are also logs for the Super DS One, there's even quite a lot, a bit more precise here
