Connection issues with games (flyff, FFXI)

Hello,

I have a big problem with my PC, I have Windows XP SP2 (Home Edition), I can browse on IE no problem but when I try to connect to the games (Flyff, FF), I get "unable to connect to the server" for Flyff and for FF, I cannot connect as it says "server not found, check connection." I have disabled the Windows firewall and my antivirus "Spy Sweeper" as well. Also, I cannot download the new version of MSN with WLinstaller and yet I can browse without any issues. Being not very knowledgeable about computers, could you please help me? 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    I'm having the same problem; I started playing yesterday, and today nothing works, it says I've been disconnected from the server. My brother played a bit last night and he's having the same issue. Since we have two computers and the problem is on both, I conclude that it's the server's fault. Maybe it will come back to normal soon. In my opinion, waiting is the best option (unless someone has a better idea).

      Don't look for it ... thousands of people have problems with Flyff! It's a bit of the MMORPG ... CRAPPY ... but well, there are other MMORPGs anyway ... I recommend Rappelz ... a private server WOW or even S4league, a pretty good shooting game if you don't have a bad connection ... see ya!

      It's clear, Gpotato is the one responsible for these problems, but the only thing to do is to be patient; we can't do anything. We're here just to fix the server in all Gpotato games, and it's going to be like this.

    I have a problem. Yesterday I could play peacefully, but now when I log in it tells me I'm disconnected from the game server??? And it really annoys me because I was level 59, so can someone help me??? Please.

    Having played for a certain time, I think I can help you. Fly For Fun is often overloaded, and if messages like "Server disconnected" appear, it is often due to a server crash (too many people on it) or updates. Otherwise, I think it could also be from the antivirus. It is possible that it is blocking the connection to the Flyff server. Well, I hope you will resolve your connection issues. Otherwise, try the game in my signature; Flyff is based on that one ^^

    I can't log in because it says there's no internet connection, while I can play another online game and my regular internet works fine, so I'd like your help, please.

      In fact, there is no solution for the Flyff bug and it's super annoying, but it's up to Gpotato to fix it, they're stubborn lol.

    On a tous le même problème, mes amis m'ont dit qu'il fallait le réinstaller (je l'ai fait 3 fois et il me dit qu'IE ne marche pas bien) ou attendre... donc on ne peut que faire ça :/

      I'm no longer disconnected from the game server; now it's checking your internet connection, and I've tried everything. I unplugged my Freebox, turned off my computer, and restarted it, but it still doesn't work.
      If anyone has found a solution, it would be nice to let me know.

    Hello, in my opinion, stop unplugging the Freebox or looking for problems... it's the Flyff game (server) that is glitching. I believe that there won't be any Flyff today, I've counted and we are about a hundred people, not just from this forum, having this issue. So we just need to wait for Flyff to work again^^
