Good evening,
I also have recordings that I would like to have on my computer.
I took a closer look at the various files recorded on the hard drive connected to neufTV, here are the different results, mainly using:
MediaInfo
TSReader Lite
The various TS (TS = transport Stream) seem to be correct; however, they are encrypted by a certain algorithm that is not specified in the file.
The .rec files contain metadata regarding the recordings (opened with Notepad++):
the start/end date and time
the channel
the show
....
We also notice in this file a "NGRedirector" that is reminiscent of Nagra, a data encryption provider.
If we now use TSReader to analyze the live broadcast, we see that the encryption broadcast on the 9SFR network is indeed Nagra.
Unless we find a USB box that would allow us to decrypt the content with the neuf smart card, we would be engaging in decryption, which is illegal.
