Hello Yug, have you solved your problem?
On my side, I just bought a Bose Lifestyle AV48 media center, and I have a message "error 802 call Bose", the CD player doesn't open, and so I can't use the device.
It doesn't seem like a serious issue, but does anyone have a solution, please?
I haven't connected the media center to any speakers yet; it's only connected to the BOSE Power Supply Model DCS91 and the 230V adapter. The media center is on, but it doesn't want to work.
Thank you for your help.-
I think it's worse than you think. For my part, I reported the issue directly to Bose and they told me to go through my supplier and have my media center replaced. I made the request and received a brand new media center three weeks later. I'm very satisfied with the service and Bose didn't skimp on the replacement.
But before doing that, have you tried completely unplugging it? I was told that sometimes that was enough...- Hello and thank you for your response, and happy holidays!
At Bose, they're celebrating too; they won't reopen until January 5th.
Yes, in fact, it's still the same problem. After plugging and unplugging the power cord and the DCS 91 adapter, it's still the same thing: "CD-DVD !unsupported format" and "failed 802 call bose".
There's no way to eject the CD compartment!!! Do you have a solution to manually unlock the CD??? Any other ideas? Otherwise, I'll wait until the 5th and call Bose technical support, hoping for a response by phone.
Thank you anyway for your response.
horus - Hello Horus
In fact, I had message 802. However, I could still use the DVD but I was unable to "store" music. Hard drive problem.... In your case, it seems to be an internal management issue, software?
Unfortunately, I have no solution for you, you'll have to be patient until the 5th.
Have a great holiday despite this little setback.
