SOLVED CASE:

After trying everything that was advised on various forums and with no results, I finally managed to put an end to this real ordeal today.

Believe it or not, it was simply a driver issue. My Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG network card was the source of the problem.

Although you can disable and then re-enable your card for a temporary fix, the permanent solution came simply from an update of the drivers through the Intel website, which, via an online scan, was able to automatically identify the driver to install.

You may have an energy-saving settings issue. If you are on battery, the system may shut down energy-hungry devices, and Wi-Fi is one of them. Try plugging in the charger to see.

Having a laptop doesn't mean being autonomous: often laptops have screens that are too large and processors that are too powerful compared to their battery.
A good laptop has a maximum 13" screen, a single-core processor at a maximum of 2GHz, and a minimum 6-cell battery. The DVD drive is an energy drain... That's why netbooks don't have a DVD drive: a USB key is faster and more energy-efficient.
Check the energy consumption.

You need to go to the Control Panel/Device Manager and then select your Wi-Fi card. Click disable. Then click enable. The Wi-Fi will then work again. This is only a temporary solution as the Wi-Fi may disconnect on its own. (I only have this problem when browsing the internet, never when gaming).
Otherwise, I have of course disabled "allow the computer to turn off this device" in the properties of the card. I do not understand where the problem comes from. Maybe the card is overheating and is automatically disabled by the computer?
(I did not have this problem before. I have only had it for a month...)

I read elsewhere on a forum that it was necessary to change the transmission channel of the router's wifi.
I also have this problem and updating the drivers didn't fix anything, and I don't think it's related to power saving since I have a desktop PC.
I changed the channel on my end, but it's still fresh, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this was the problem.

Actually, I'm never on battery, I have a very long cable to stay plugged in. But that's not the case for ethernet.
I'm looking for the "card" that manages the wifi because I feel like it's the one that turns off even when I'm still connected, as the orange wifi light is off and I don't know how to turn it back on.
To follow your advice, I disconnected the power saving option in the connection settings, I'll see if that is enough.

First, install the WiFi Analyzer on your phone or tablet (for Android, it's free on the Play Store) which is useful for many things.
Analyze your WiFi, especially to find the best available channel to avoid any interference.
Set the best channel on your modem (from 1 to 13).
