Location of the Google Chrome favorites folder. Solved/Closed

Hello,
I would like to save my Google Chrome bookmarks to an external hard drive, but I can't find them on my computer, nor can I find the folder where Google Chrome is installed.
Could you please help me?

All Chrome settings are located here C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default Make sure to enable the display of hidden folders first, as the AppData folder is hidden.

Hello,

I don't know if this is the subject of your question, but to export bookmarks from Google Chrome, you need to go to the "Bookmark Manager" (shortcut ctrl+shift+B or click on the "wrench" icon) and then under "Tools" select "Export bookmarks." This creates a kind of backup of your bookmarks that you can restore at any time!

Hello,
Looking for a solution to the problem at hand; I found it and this...without downloading the famous program that some recommend. It's very nice of them but there's a simpler way.

1) In the top right corner of Google Chrome, there's "a wrench" (a song by Renaud) and if you click on it, a dropdown menu will appear with different options. You need to select "bookmark manager" and open it.

2) Once the manager is open, go to "tools" then "export bookmarks" and put all of that on your USB drive if you have one.

If you can't find "Favorites Manager" in the wrench, you will surely find it by right-clicking on your favorites folder (It may be named "Other Favorites" or "Favorites").
