Classified ad with vertical stripes

I am in Open Office

I am making progress: I have understood how to place the text and the lines with the URL in a strip

So under my "big" column where the text is, I have lots of small lines with this URL

But I can't find either the properties of the table cell or the option to orient the lines vertically

I only find "table format" which allows me to modify the width..

I am sorry but I really need a precise path.

I also have "alignment" but on the left, on the right, at the top .. I tried everything and it doesn't move at all

So I had made a bunch of lines to have strips all along my text

I followed your path, excellent: I found it :)

And it resulted in all the lines stacking on top of each other.. so I tried removing the lines and just putting a string of my http address one below the other and then I rotated them 270°

Same result: all my addresses are one on top of the other vertically with a big white space on the right

I’m back... I found the activity for Asian languages but never that famous horizontal T!! So I ended up giving up and returning to the idea I had a few months ago: creating a layout with the text in a frame and my contact details in lines.
I printed, cut out, arranged, and photocopied...

It’s worth what it’s worth but at least I was able to start putting some things together.

Now, I’m thinking that I really have to get this done... especially so close to the goal!!

Where should I look to find this horizontal T???

I have not disabled Asian languages and I have the horizontal T

I reread the instructions above and apart from everything being there I still can't get the whole thing to work

Should I:

- type in horizontal lines, select and use the horizontal T to flip the lines into columns? (I tried and didn't succeed)

- start over .?. but how? a table, lines? columns ..?

the last thing I was missing was this "create a text box" system ..

actually, I don't know anything about Open Office Draw functions .. and I should probably look into it because I need to make illustrations for children's books... but that's another story, isn't it?

I wanted to do a copy/paste to show you the result, but I'm not there yet .. when I click on this drawing area, it disappears .. and it doesn't get highlighted in black like the rest of the text
