RINGTONE ISSUE ON ALCATEL LANDLINE PHONE

Hello,

The ringer on my ALCATEL VERSATIS MAX XL DUO VOICE landline phone is no longer working when receiving a call, neither on the base nor on the handsets, but during settings, everything works; it's only in operational mode that it doesn't. I can call, I can intercept communications as I've connected an old device to an available socket.
I would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem and can provide me with the appropriate solution.

I have one and I intentionally mute it, but sometimes it turns on without me realizing. Check the menu and volume settings to ensure it's not on mute. If that’s the case, just change it.

Hello,
I am using an Alcatel Versatis 830 voice duo/trio with a new Freebox HD, and since then I no longer have the ringtone for external calls.
Moreover, this device does not seem to be approved by Free according to their already old list (2007).
How did you solve your problem?

Hello,
I bought another Philips combo and now, no more problems, everything works...
Since my Alcatel Versatis 830 is still under warranty, I returned it to customer service without much hope because for them, it's the Freebox that's at fault, and for Free, it's the Alcatel phone that's incompatible with certain ADSL boxes.
For Alcatel's customer service, if it's a phone defect, they repair it. However, if it's due to incompatibility with the Freebox 5 HD, too bad for me!
In any case, I have no recourse for a refund or for a credit, maybe just a simple exchange?
Conclusion: you buy a device, if it works, that's great. If it doesn't work or works poorly, go buy another one and put the first one in a cupboard...
