Hello,
I am working on Windows Vista.
I want to take screenshots of Excel showing the different shapes of the mouse pointer (cross, arrow, etc.). With the Snipping Tool, I need the mouse to select the part of the screen I want to capture. So I can't have the mouse in my image.
Could you help me? Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

I suggest you use CaptImag, which allows screen capturing with or without the cursor.

It is available on the site:

I installed Captimag but the screenshot with the mouse is not working. I don't understand what it means to install this software under Vista "as an administrator." Maybe that's what's blocking it.
      Best regards.

        Hello,

The instruction "Run as administrator" refers to using the 'French-English' language switch button, not to capturing with the mouse.

In any case, only the "Full screen" and "Active window" captures allow for the display of the mouse cursor; you need to check the box "with cursor" (under the "Selection" button) and use the Print Screen or Alt+Print Screen keys.

For your information, the "captured" cursor will not actually be the cursor visible on the screen, but see if this works for you.

        See you!
