Mouse stuck at startup Solved

Question

Hello everyone,

For the past 3 days, I've been having a problem with my mouse even though I haven't made any recent changes to my computer's configuration.

After booting up, the mouse is stuck: the cursor remains in the middle of the screen and doesn't move with the slightest mouse movement. It's a wired mouse that came with the PC and has never been replaced.
No issues with my keyboard.

I've tested the mouse on another PC and it works.
I tested another mouse on my computer and the issue persists.

To fix the problem, I restart my PC a good ten times until the mouse becomes functional. Once it works at startup, I don't encounter any issues until the next day (at the next restart).

Could it be a motherboard problem?
What should I do?

Hello.    My mouse freezes at startup. I thought about uninstalling the mouse driver, but how do I perform actions when the pointer is unresponsive?

Hello!
I'm suggesting you uninstall your mouse driver...

- Right-click on My Computer, properties, device manager, hardware, locate your mouse in the list, right-click and then uninstall. Press OK on the keyboard.
- Turn off your PC (Windows key, then arrow keys...)
- Restart your PC and wait for the mouse to be reinstalled.

My PC is running Bitdefender antivirus, along with Uniblue SpyEraser and Registry Booster 2,
It suddenly crashes when launching new processes (Explorer, Excel, ...). The first symptom is the appearance of the dropdown menus in transparency, then the mouse becomes hesitant, freezes, and the keyboard too. The system then becomes unresponsive. I can only reboot.
Of course, I've cleaned it with antivirus programs and others several times.

It sometimes happens that when starting your PC, the mouse gets stuck; this is often due to your antivirus. A good piece of advice is to uninstall it and reinstall it on a different drive than C, for example, D on your PC/laptop. The conflicts will disappear.

This happens to me from time to time with my phone. My mouse is a USB port mouse. To unlock it, I just need to unplug the USB connector and then plug it back in. After this maneuver, the mouse works normally.

I have an HP computer and the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with it. For some time now, I've had a problem where the mouse and keyboard don't respond once Windows is launched. However, when I turn on the PC and press F8, I can access safe mode. I hit Enter, and again when I get to the login screen, nothing works.
