Hello, I hope I'm posting in the right section; if not, I apologize. I'm going to explain my situation.
I applied for a position at a nursery, and I received a call from the director who is inviting me tomorrow morning at 9 am.
I'm quite shy and reserved, which isn't necessarily good during a job interview, but I will push myself because I really need this job, which is at a nursery. I would like to have some advice.
The kind of question "Why did you choose this profession?" comes up all the time, and in my situation, responding "because I like children" is a bit weak; they must hear that all day, so what should I respond instead? What is the best answer?
Often, employers also ask us to name 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses. As for the strengths, that's not a problem; for this job, I can say qualities like patience, teamwork, creativity, etc., but I struggle with the weaknesses... Of course, I have flaws like everyone else, but saying "I'm jealous" or similar does not relate to the position I'm applying for, so what can I say? What weaknesses can we mention when applying for a job at a nursery?
Thank you in advance for your responses and advice; I am very stressed!!!
Thank you very much
Best regards

For the question "Why this profession":
Of course, I really love children (you're obliged to say that), I have a strong sense of responsibility and I know that taking care of young children is a job that requires a lot of attention, organization, and rigor (here you flatter the director a bit since she must have gone through that).
If you have siblings, play on that too

I am too conscientious
I love things to be well done
I am too demanding of myself
