Hello,
I am looking for a television series from the 60s. It was about a child and a racehorse, and in the end, the horse wins a horse race.

I remember the movie very well... I'm also looking for it
I would say it must be from the years 1965-1966, I was 5 or 6 years old
I remember this little Asian boy (Chinese) who loved a mare, who died giving birth to her young foal
Unfortunately, the child rejected the foal (Takirou), holding him responsible for the death of his mare.
The father, with great wisdom, teaches the child to overcome the trials of life and manages to get him to accept riding the young horse in order to prepare him for a horse race.
Then a fire breaks out in the stables, the father saves the horse (Takirou) at the cost of his own life... Again, he makes Takirou responsible for his father's death.
Remembering what his father taught him, the child understands that it is only fate... and that this race that his father trained him hard for is important;
he participates, the horse is not in the best position.
The child realizes that his horse is just obeying and feels the lack of love. So, before the end of the race, the child speaks to him and shows his affection for Takirou... The horse begins to want to live, to fight for his little master, and will win the race.

This series is the sequel to Belle and Sebastien. He joins his father at his stud farm and is going to feel very lonely, but he will fall in love with a horse and train it for a highly sought-after race. At least something like that! I was very little at that time!
