operator history Solved

Question

Hello,
my son visits suspicious websites but I want him to think that I always trust him, so I’m not setting up parental controls.
Unfortunately, I can't see what he does because he clears the history with ATF-Cleaner and Internet Explorer and TuneUp.
I would like to know how I can see what he is doing.
Is there another browsing history on the computer, or can I request the browsing history from my Free provider along with the bill, or at any time, or can I check it directly on the Free website???

Hello!  According to my service provider, not all providers keep (and can keep) the URLs of the visited sites.  That said, if you received a different answer, I would be interested in hearing it :)

Well, simply tell him that you trust him, and that he can leave the adult sites in the history so that you can be sure he’s not watching bad movies xD

More seriously, your provider shouldn’t legally spy on you in my humble opinion (totally personal, no legal justification to support my claims ^^')

So you can always ask them for a history of visited sites, knowing that it's unlikely it will lead anywhere. In any case, as long as he doesn't put any viruses on the PC, everything's fine, right? (and that he doesn't enter your credit card number on any site ^^')

Moreover, you can create his own account with restricted rights which should prevent him from deleting the browsing history... (pure speculation)

Thank you @ngel_974, but how can I ask my operator for the visited sites because my son is going to bug me if he sees that I'm closing doors on him and since I'm not sure about his visits to suspicious sites...

Well, either by mail (not very convincing) or by phone, hotline as we say, right?

Moreover, if you want to block sites that you consider too risky, you can do so by indicating them in your hosts file => C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/hosts

You add lines like:

127.0.0.1 www.badSite.com
127.0.0.1 www.Under18Site.com
127.0.0.1 www.IWantToSeeYouUnderThere.com

I hope that's clear enough :) to open the hosts file => right-click and open with Notepad or Notepad ;)
