Did you really copy all the extracted files to your microSD card?
Then try version 1.14 of my post3 because it worked for several usernames on this forum, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for you.

I see that Krisantem has the link 1.18, so download that one instead and follow the procedure from my post 3.

with this you should manage to do it, put your micro SD in the USB reader, delete your existing files and follow the next procedure, then install your games in .nds and there you go

Hello, I'm pasting a copy/paste

Below are the steps for installing the R4:

1- Put the micro SD in the USB key
2- Connect the USB key
3- Format the micro SD (preferably in FAT)
4- Download this file (it's the latest version, newer than on the install CD): http://www.r4ds.com/soft/20-en.htm (file to download: R4 French v1.14 kernel)
5- Unzip the content of the file, select everything and copy-paste the files (that you just unzipped) onto your micro SD
6- Create an additional folder for games on your micro SD
7- Put your games in this folder
Remove the micro SD and put it in your R4, plug your R4 into your DS and go go go

PS: for the English version no problem, by putting the drivers above the R4 will switch to French.
