Swap ALT and CTRL keys on PC keyboard

Hello,

I'm used to Mac keyboards, and at home I have a PC.

I want to keep my PC keyboard, I just want to "swap" the ALT and CTRL keys so that I feel like I have a POM key. Basically, by pressing ALT+C, I would like to trigger "SELECT ALL". I've downloaded CLAVIER+ but it doesn't allow reassigning PC keyboard keys, it just creates new shortcuts. Just so you know, I have a COMPAQ keyboard.

If anyone has a tip, that would be great.

Thank you.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello
by pressing CTRL + A, you have 'select all', but if you want to change your keys, go to the control panel, press F1 for help and search for "keys", you will find tips on how to program your keys the way you want.

I know that by pressing CTRL+A I can "select all".

Personally, I would like to have "ALT+A" to achieve "select all" or "ALT+C" for "paste"; the idea is to remap the keyboard and associate the CTRL function with the ALT key and vice versa.

The help in the control panel only allows you to associate keyboard shortcuts for launching programs, but that's not what I'm looking for. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to respond.

I found SharpKeys and it works really well. I swapped the ctrl and alt keys with this little software http://www.randyrants.com/2008/12/sharpkeys_30.html
