Video streaming playback issue in IE/Firefox Solved

Question

Hello,

Here's my problem. Recently, when I want to watch a streaming video (regardless of the site or browser), the video loads normally, but playback stops after 2 or 3 seconds. This has never happened to me before.
If anyone has an idea about the origin of the problem, thank you in advance.

Hello

This works:

In Mozilla Firefox, type about:config in the address bar.

1) Search for the string browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers
2) Set the value to "0"

1) Create the string browser.cache.memory.capacity
2) Set the value to "0"

And there you go, restart Firefox to apply the new settings.

First, check that the modules used for this type of reading are up to date. Then, make sure that the client-side languages (primarily JavaScript) are enabled.
Are these issues occurring on FF or IE?

I don't really master IE and I apologize for that. For Firefox, there's a button in the menu bar to check for updates for add-ons (not exactly that, but something like it). To enable JavaScript: Tools > Options (Internet Options under IE)

IE8 for Windows XP users
IE8 or IE9 for Vista or 7 users
Firefox 3.6 or Firefox 4 for Windows/Mac any version
Google Chrome 10 Windows/Mac any version

Minor bugs for which the source of the problem cannot be found can be fixed with simple updates.

Hello, I also have this problem.
When I start a streaming video (on any site), the video loads and then very regularly, the loading bar jumps directly to the maximum and from that moment on I can't watch my video: abnormally long loading time or the message Error File not found.
