Network error message

Hello, my friend is trying to connect to a site but is getting a "network error" message
whereas yesterday he could connect without any problem:

his configuration:

- XP
- browser Mozilla and IE
- using Ethernet
- desktop PC

test performed: disabling his antivirus and firewall: but without success, still getting (network error)

thank you in advance for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.3

I inquired not to get banned, but I didn't run CCleaner; I will tell him to do that. Thank you, I'll keep you updated.
