Yahoo Search is back

If others have the same problem and haven't found the above solution, I also had this issue: it came from the IObit Toolbar (automatically installed with IObit Unlocker).
After uninstalling it and restarting Firefox, no more problems.

Check if there happens to be Yahoo Toolbar installed in the control panel and programs. If it is there, uninstall it.

Remove Yahoo Tracking 1.3.

It does its job perfectly!

You just need to go to Start/Computer/Uninstall a program/ then press the S key on your keyboard, and you will either find a program named Spigot or a program named SafeSearch or something similar. Hi, so you need to go to this link http://www.google.fr/intl/en/chrome/browser/ then you download but YOU DO NOT EXECUTE IT after that you press Ctrl+j you should see ChromeSetup and at the bottom of ChromeSetup you have to show the folder (this will open a Windows page) then ChromeSetup should be selected so you take it and put it on the desktop. After that you go to the Windows start menu: ==> Control Panel ==> Uninstall a program and you uninstall Google and once it's uninstalled you can now execute ChromeSetup and in the end... Go to Internet options, then click on the General tab, click on modify the default search settings, check that Yahoo is your default search engine and disable it, then you can delete it with a simple right-click.

I see that this issue still hasn't been resolved, so, UP!

Let's be clear, it's not the "Yahoo toolbar" that's bothering us, but the fact that systematically, even during a session, Yahoo search takes over and imposes itself instead of Google, 3 times in 2 hours, having to go and replace it in "tools" of the IE bar, because I use IE and Firefox when the latter acts up (crashes, among other things).
There you go, I suppose it's a plugin that reactivates as soon as we call Yahoo.
