Yahoo Search is back Solved

Question

Hello,

By setting Google as the default search engine and then removing Yahoo Search!, it automatically comes back.
I read on some English sites that this might be due to having installed the latest Yahoo Messenger, which supposedly automatically installs this system. I uninstalled this Messenger, but the problem persists.
It's the Google - Yahoo war...
If this continues, I will leave Yahoo sites, Yahoo Mail, etc. in retaliation.
Do you have a solution?

Hello everyone, here is a relevant response:
google parameter ===> At startup ==> open a specific page or set of pages, click on set of pages ===> remove Yahoo search ====> restart google ====> there you go, it's done

Problem solved!

Go to Internet options, then click on the General tab, click on modify the default search settings, check that Yahoo is your default search engine and disable it, then you can delete it with a simple right-click.

I see that this issue still hasn't been resolved, so, UP!

Let's be clear, it's not the "Yahoo toolbar" that's bothering us, but the fact that systematically, even during a session, Yahoo search takes over and imposes itself instead of Google, 3 times in 2 hours, having to go and replace it in "tools" of the IE bar, because I use IE and Firefox when the latter acts up (crashes, among other things).
There you go, I suppose it's a plugin that reactivates as soon as we call Yahoo.

I had the same problem. When installing pdf creator, a software called pdf toolbar was automatically installed. You need to uninstall it.

If others have the same problem and haven't found the above solution, I also had this issue: it came from the IObit Toolbar (automatically installed with IObit Unlocker).
After uninstalling it and restarting Firefox, no more problems.

Here's how I solved the same problem, thanks to your responses and a bit of my knowledge. You just need to go to Start/Computer/Uninstall a program/ then press the S key on your keyboard, and you will either find a program named Spigot or a program named SafeSearch or something similar. Next to it, it should normally say it was made by Spigot.inc, and you can uninstall it. If you don’t find that, look for any software also made by Spigot.inc and uninstall it. I hope I helped you! No, Yahoo is in a software that you downloaded! For that, you need some reflection, so remember the last software you downloaded before getting Yahoo, then uninstall it!

Hi, so you need to go to this link http://www.google.fr/intl/en/chrome/browser/ then you download but YOU DO NOT EXECUTE IT after that you press Ctrl+j you should see ChromeSetup and at the bottom of ChromeSetup you have to show the folder (this will open a Windows page) then ChromeSetup should be selected so you take it and put it on the desktop. After that you go to the Windows start menu: ==> Control Panel ==> Uninstall a program and you uninstall Google and once it's uninstalled you can now execute ChromeSetup and in the end...
