Hello, I just bought this second-hand monitor, the image is very good, my resolution is 1280*1024 at 32 bits with a refresh rate of 85Hz. I'm running on Windows XP and my video card is an ATI Radeon X1950 XT 512 MB, I am using Catalyst Control Center 8.7 with all drivers updated.
But in games, I have a big issue, I play very regularly to Counter-Strike Source and the image in the shadows is really too dark and too red. Basically, I can’t see anything, I’ve tried lots of different settings but to no avail.
With CCC*, I managed to adjust the colors, but only on the desktop!!! My settings do not apply in games!!!
One more thing, which seems suspicious to me but might be minor, is that CCC* recognizes my monitor as "DDC Display" instead of "Iiyama A902MT VisionMaster Pro 451" as recognized by Windows.
So if anyone has a tip for adjusting the colors of my monitor, I would gladly accept it.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer but I'm having the same issue as you with an Iiyama Vision Master pro 454. I also have CCC and an ATI card (4890). In CSS the lights look nice but it's extremely dark and red on cbble in the hallways.
If you found the solution, I'm interested.
Thanks in advance! -
Hello,
I had the same problem as you; I have an iiyama vision master pro 454 screen, and I was on Windows 7. Even though Windows 7 limits the refresh rate to 85Hz, I switched to XP. Then, using the NVIDIA control panel (Nvidia Geforce 320), I played around with the gamma settings and made sure that all channels were selected (not just blue or just red). I set my resolution to 800*600 at 120Hz and typed in the launch options for Counter Strike Source, ""-refresh 120"" (in quotes). I hope this helps you. hf -
Thank you Chti59, in the meantime I found another solution, it's to download the PowerStrip software which also affects the gamma and brightness in-game.
But don't you think that adjusting the gamma affects the colors? I feel like the colors are a bit faded when playing with the gamma? -
Hello,
I have the same screen as you, and I am using Windows XP, but I can't exceed 85Hz (at 800x600).
I don't understand.
If you could help me.
Sincerely,
