I can't add a friend on Facebook. Solved/Closed

Good evening everyone,Like many others, I am signed up on Facebook. I tried to add a friend, but the "Add as friend" option does not appear. This is the only contact for whom this happens.There is the profile picture and "send a message".How is that possible? Is there something to do?Thank you for your help!Manon:-)

If the ADD option is not there... It means this person does not accept friend requests from the public. They need to change their settings.

I had the same problem and I was able to add them as soon as I got a contact confirmation from someone who had them in their contacts. Suddenly, I was allowed to send them a request because they were in their selected friends of friends settings.

Wow, that's fast! :-D Yes, indeed, it's possible... That said, it does seem silly, otherwise what's the point of having a Facebook if it's just for you to see! Is that the only option?

I haven't logged into my Facebook account for 2 weeks. I met some people that I added on Facebook, and I can't add them. How is that possible? I don't understand. It's not due to spamming requests since I haven't been on my account for 2 weeks, and it's not my style to add people I don't know. How can I make Facebook understand that I actually know these 2 people in real life? And how can I lift the restriction on adding friends or contact Facebook support? Thank you for your help.

Hello, she must have limited this function in her privacy settings, the best thing is to send her a private message (since you have the button) and ask her to add you since you can't do it yourself...
