"Add" button disappeared

Hello, I noticed that after I requested someone as a friend on Facebook and they declined, the "add" button on their profile has disappeared, so it's impossible to request them again as a friend.

I couldn't find any explanation for this, whether it's temporary or if it blocks the request or if it's impossible to request again after a decline, etc.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 55.0.2883.91

No, actually the person hasn't blocked me. I tested it with another profile and it's the same situation: the add button has disappeared, but we can still contact them and view their profile.

I sent a friend request as part of a game.

Then I withdrew it because the addition was only supposed to be temporary, but the next day I needed the person again and now it's impossible to send her a friend request again.

The person hasn't blocked me.

The answer is already available, you can only ask once, the button disappears afterwards.

This person has declined your friend request. You can still send a message, but it will be in their "message requests." However, I don't understand why "friend request" no longer appears on this person's profile since there is no blocking. I have experienced it. To know if she has blocked you, just do a search, and if her profile appears, she hasn't blocked you; otherwise, you wouldn't be able to find her Facebook profile.
