Hello,
I got an MP3 player two years ago but I have a problem (brand MEMUP).
When I put music on it, I organize them into folders (with the artist's name) and within those folders, I create other folders (with the album name). The problem is that when I want to listen to the music on my MP3 player, the songs in the same folder are grouped together but they are all in the wrong order.
I have already tried numbering them (01, 02, 03...10, 11, 12...) but it doesn't work (the songs are ordered like this: 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 05 04 06 03 01 02).
I hope you can help me because I would like to listen to my albums in the correct order.
Thank you in advance.

I don't know if my mp3 is set to a sorting mode.
When I go to my menu, I can choose:
Equalizer, Play Mode, Contrast, Backlight, Power Set, Record, Language
In Play Mode I have: normal, repeat one, repeat all, Shuffle Repeat, Dir normal, Dir All Normal, Dir Shuffle Repeat.
I don't know if it's because I need to choose one of these modes... Maybe my mp3 is just like that and doesn't sort the songs, I don't know! -

In my folder, I have for example artist 1 and artist 2, which makes 2 folders. The first one has 1 album, the second one has 2, so I have 3 subfolders. If I stack my songs one by one, they are in order, so the listening order of the subfolders will be: artist 1 album 1, artist 2 album 1, artist 2 album 2.
But if by chance, artist 1 releases a new album, artist 1 album 2, then you can add this subfolder to the artist 1 folder, and it will fit between artist 1 album 1 and artist 2 album 1. Well, you get what I mean lol.

Hello,
I don't know if this will work, but you can try something:
Open your songs in iTunes and then right-click on each of them and select "Get Info." Then you'll have the option to modify the artist, the song title, the year... and also the track number (2 out of 12, for example). If you change the track number here, maybe it will change it in the MP3 player...
