Hello,
I have installed EBP Accounting and EBP Payroll, but when I try to open the software, I get an error message.
Here is the message:
The local engine is not accessible by the MicroKernel router.
Contact your reseller to learn the procedure to follow when this error occurs.
Before that, please perform the following operations:
Restart your computer and try the operation again.
Make a backup (different from your usual backup, so on a new backup set).
Check the following points:
Do you have enough space on the hard drives containing the folder, the shared data directory, the temporary directory, and on c:\ ?
Do you have write and file creation rights in the directories containing the folder and shared data and in c:\ ?
Is your hard drive and your network working correctly?
Does the problem occur with other folders?
I have tried their advice but nothing works.
Could you help me?

I am also unable to open my software, and it has been like this for 3 days. The first message before the one you mentioned is:
Error 4083 during the installation of Pervasives SQL licenses
then I get the message you indicated, and afterwards the PC closes the program. I can open it in administrator mode, but I no longer have my backups.
What solution did EBP propose to you?
Knowing that I have been using my EBP accounting software 12.0 for over 4 months and that my support only just expired.
Of course, EBP offers me support for €146.30 excluding VAT for 12 months, but I wonder after these
12 months of support, if I have a new problem, will I have to take out support for life again?

Hello Ayeuh, you need to install Persuasive SQL which is on the EBP installation CD
Workstation, right-click on the EBP icon, click on explore, products, persuasive, install.
Once you have installed Persuasive, you will be able to access your files.

Yesterday, I encountered the same problem opening my file on EBP Comptabilité Libérale with the messages "The specified file is not a MicroKernel file" and "The MicroKernel router detected an invalid session."
It is a single-user version that has worked without difficulty until October 3rd.
Following the advice found on this forum, I reinstalled 'Pervasive' from the EBP install CD and restarted my PC.
But the problem persists.
Do you have any idea or solution to resolve this incomprehensible issue for me?

It's my boss who took care of getting EBP up and running, so I don't know exactly what he did.
As for the support, it is valid for 1 year, so it needs to be renewed every year.
