Hanging an LCD screen on hollow plasterboard

Hello everyone
I just acquired a 32-inch Sony LCD screen that weighs about 15KG

I want to mount it on the wall of my room, but the problem is that my walls are made of hollow plasterboard
For those who don't know what it is, it's 2 sheets of plaster that are 5-10 mm thick, and between these two sheets, there is cardboard in an alveolar shape (like honeycombs)

I would like to know if it is possible to hang my screen on the wall without damaging it or even preventing the screen from falling
And I'd also like to know which screws I need to buy (Molly plugs???)

Thank you for your help
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

You can use molly bolts. The simplest way is to fix a strip the size of your TV minus 1 cm so that it isn't too visible; this way, the weight distribution will be done by it and the 3 or 4 placed bolts. The bolts can support a considerable weight; the drawback is what the wall can support with this method, which eliminates that issue. It’s total weight / number of bolts.

Example for a 95 cm long TV

Strip of 93 cm fixed by 3 bolts spaced 30 cm apart (load per bolt ratio 5 kg)

Then you just need to fix the TV.
