Hello,
I have a JVC GR-D20 camcorder and since last week when I try to use it, everything freezes and the screen shows (please wait condensation). The manual says to wait for an hour because it’s a condensation issue. Nonetheless, the problem keeps coming back systematically; could it be that the battery needs to be changed?

Good evening,
I had the same issue and I came across this site: http://www.pechorin.com/...
It worked for me. No problems since.
However, I have another issue that still isn't resolved, if you have a solution...: the power/charge indicator does not light up when I try to charge the battery, and therefore it does not charge. I can only use my cam on mains power... ... ...

hello, thank you for your response. for your warning light issue, could it simply be the battery that needs to be replaced?
Hello, I have 2 problems with my JVC GR-D20 camcorder. One is the condensation message that keeps appearing, and the other is that when I plug it in to charge, the light doesn’t blink anymore and it doesn’t charge. I resolved the second issue by playing with the plug; when I connect it to the camcorder, I pull it out slightly until the light starts blinking and charging begins. It’s a contact issue.
Best regards.
