EOS 2000D

Hello, and thank you for the update (which is good news). This morning, while connecting the EOS to the PC via cable, it started looking for the installation driver. I was able to transfer my shots. I couldn't integrate the app into "this PC" as a device, but at least I can save my photos instead of losing them with my camera (ha! ha!) like before. Thanks again, but Gates keeps annoying 70-year-old users like me by releasing increasingly difficult versions to manage (or maybe our brain cells just can't keep up with his "genius".....)

Gates is no longer the CEO of Microsoft now! But it's true that Windows interfaces are becoming unnecessarily complicated (in trying to simplify them! It's the height of irony!) especially since Windows 8, I personally find (maybe because I'm very attached to Windows 7!). It is also important to consider that Windows is an OS that is outdated and struggles to update itself to stay compatible, like the obsolete system of letters for partitions C: ..., the software management (which is a joke compared to that of Linux, very similar to that of Android with packages, a list, and a store).

I knew I was out of touch, even on the organizational chart. But I completely agree with you about Windows 7. In any case, thank you again for your availability (and your knowledge).

I also have a Canon 2000D and I would like to ask you a question. And I'm sorry for not being able to answer your question, but I am absolutely looking for someone who has the same device!
I would like to record myself like in YouTube mode, but the autofocus doesn’t work and my images remain frozen and blurry. I don’t know if you can help me; I would like the focus to adjust automatically without me having to touch the camera, as it's definitely more convenient when I'm filming myself! Thank you!

It looks like a driver issue at first glance.
But when I search for the drivers for this device on Canon's website, here is what I get:

Are you sure that Windows does not recognize your device? Is it not visible in "This PC" or "Computer"? (depending on your version of Windows)
