disabling read receipt requests in Outlook Solved

Hello,  I want to know how I can disable the sending of read receipt and delivery receipt in Outlook 2003. If there is a way to do it, please help me.

I've found the answer  In Outlook:  Tools --> Options  In the "Preferences" tab: Mail Options --> Tracking Options  Check "Ask me before sending a response"

In the main window of Microsoft Outlook, click on the Tools menu, then on Options, and then on the Security tab.

Deactivate the checkbox Add a digital signature to outgoing messages.

(De)activate the checkbox Request S/MIME receipt for all signed S/MIME messages.

Just so you know, you’re not asked before sending it. The resolution I gave you states that you need to follow this method to activate the automatic sending of the acknowledgment of receipt. This means that when you send an email, you will automatically receive the acknowledgment of receipt. On the other hand, when you receive it, it’s not you that did it but the sender.
