Hello,

I'm looking for the character "er" in superscript for the term 1st, for example.
I couldn't find it in the character table.
I did it in Excel, but when I copy and paste, it reverts the characters to normal mode.

How can I do this?
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.2

In the formula bar, select only "er", go to format and choose superscript.
But you have to do it again with every copy-paste (except in Excel 2007, where it works).
So if it comes up often, why not type "premier" or "1°"?

    Hi

The character "er" is not a character. Word automatically formats the characters "e" and "r" in superscript with a reduced size when they follow the number 1.

I also remembered that Word would automatically put "er" in superscript when it followed "1", but now it seems like it doesn't want to do it for me (Office 2002).
